23 Aug SWAM® Model CCR-NP16X16
Originally developed for Tobyhanna Army Depot and fielded in late 2009, the CCR-NP16X16 is the first automated micro-abrasive blast system designed specifically for removing/stripping conformal coatings from an entire printed circuit board surface, up to 16” x 16”. It will also handle spot area removals when used with the Point Ionizer Handpiece for manual touch-up.
The system is computer controlled with a programmable touch screen user interface. The user simply enters the area to be blasted (up to 16″x 16″), number of passes and from which side to make the passes. The system can be used in either “Sandblast Automatic” mode or “Sandblast Manual” for doing manual touch ups.
